The 1st World Congress on Energy Geostructures & FOLIAGE meeting (full one-day event) is organized by the International Society for Energy Geostructures (ISEG) and will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on 3 September 2026.

The 1st WCEG will take place at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The venue address is UTCN HUB, Strada George Barițiu nr. 4-8, Cluj-Napoca.
Social dinner
The social dinner will take place on 3 September 2026 from 19:30. The location is "La Pensule", Strada Henri Barbusse 59-61, 400000 Cluj-Napoca.

Practical info
“Avram Iancu” Cluj International Airport (www.airportcluj.ro) is located approximately 9 km east of Cluj-Napoca city centre. Direct flights are available from numerous major European cities and hubs. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals Terminal, and a trip to the city centre costs approximately RON 50 (around EUR 10) and takes 20–30’, depending on traffic. Ride-hailing services such as Bolt are also available and can be booked through the mobile app.
Public transport lines A1E, 5 and 8 connect the airport with the central area. The A1E express bus departs from the bus stop outside the Arrivals Terminal and runs to Mihai Viteazul Square. Lines 5 and 8 can be taken from the Aeroport Nord stop, located on the main road, a few minutes’ walk from the terminal. The journey to the central area takes approximately 26–40’, depending on the line and traffic.
The closest public transport stop to the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca’s central building is Memorandumului.
